Hanna Barbera + Dali = Kenny Scharf

Today saw 20 images from Kenny Scharf added to SCAD‘s Digital Image Database here in the Visual Resources Center. Scharf was close friends with such artists as Keith Herring and Klaus Nomi. His work borrows from both pop culture and the surrealist movement. His sculptural works are often customized everyday machines. He was also responsible for the mid ’80’s album covers of the B-52’s.
