Shall we dance

Shall we dance is a photo essay featuring the work of Brian Lanker with a foreword by Maya Angelou. “In this book Brian Lanker, with his swift shutters and respectful eye, has captured the art of dance. We have been beautifully, wonderfully served by the great award-winning photographer who can place on film those fleeting images. Lanker has allowed his fine art to translate human movement in all our bodies and can be found in how we serve the dance, and how dance serves us.” (Angelou, 11)

I have added 20 images to the Digital Image Database in SCAD‘s Visual Resources Center from this title. This would be an excellent resource for the photographer who wishes to capture dance performance in a still image.
