L.A. Modern

“To many people, Los Angeles is synonymous with the world of entertainment. To lovers of architecture however, L.A.’s claim to fame may be its unrivaled inventory of classic modernist residences from the last century, spanning from early ventures in postmodernism by Irving Gill, starting in 1911, to the last of John Lautner’s revolutionary free-form buildings, designed in the 1980s.” (Street-Porter, 6)

The VRC has cataloged 44 images from L.A. Modern. These are available to the SCAD community with your MySCAD log-in.
