Bad Painting, Good Art

“The exhibition attempts an alternative history that pointedly addresses the question of the quality and relevance of painting. The open-ended formulation ‘Bad painting-good art,’ based on a quotation from Neil Jenney (whose work is featured in the show), approaches the question controversially, and is likely to be seen as a provocation. This is not against the intentions of the show. (Kob, 6)”

The VRC has cataloged 20 images from Bad Painting, Good Art. These are available to the SCAD community in the Digital Image Database.
