Dragon’s Lair

Continuing our ongoing project to digitally archive images from the Don Bluth Collection of Animation, we have added 55 images from Dragon’s Lair to the Digital Image Database. These are mostly character development images along with a few animation cels from what is referred to as the Goblin Guts sequence, which was not used as it was considered too graphic for a video game that children might play.

Above images:

Bluth, Don. (1983). Dragon’s Lair (Goblin Guts sequence). Acrylic on acetate. The Don Bluth Collection of Animation, Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georgia.
