Josef Müller-Brockmann

By exposing the essential character of a design, Müller-Brockmann’s life work was directed toward revealing the objective determinants of each visual message. He achieved this by examining all of the key elements involved in the design process, reducing each one of them to their fundamental nature. (Purcell, 8 )
